They can cause significant damage because they contaminate and destroy large amounts of food items. Furthermore, they often transmit diseases and the odour of their urine and faeces can be outright disgusting.

  • Cockroaches: Similar to rodents, Cockroaches are attracted to supermarkets because of the easy accessibility of groceries and foods. Flies cannot eat solid foods and regurgitate on food to be able to take it in. Any pest activity or pest risks will be identified and action taken to address them.

Any pest prevention and control recommendations will be documented as well as being highlighted to staff on the site. In particular, we will advise on working practices and procedures to reduce the risk of pests entering the store or becoming a problem.
